The ink cartridge hasn’t been recognized
A faulty or inappropriate ink cartridge has been installed on the MFP
If you’re using an MFP appropriate ink cartridge, clean the ink cartridge and carriage connectors. If this doesn’t help, replace the entire ink cartridge.

You can find out which ink cartridge is faulty by taking all of them out of the printer and placing them back inside one by one, checking your computer screen frequently. When there are two ink cartridges inside the printer at the same time, the computer will probably blame the Colored one, even if the Black one is faulty
