This ink cartridge corresponds to the vivera ink generation, which was very popular in Latin America. These cartridges in particular were made for domestic and small and medium-business use, which refers to how often they should be used. Normally, these cartridges yield up to 220 pages.

After refilling them, the page yield can go down to 150 sheets, which is still a large sum if you choose to keep this ink cartridge and to invest just a little bit of time on this operation. Every color in these ink cartridges, such as yellow, cyan and magenta, must be refilled with 5ml of ink.

You must be very careful and not let yourself be led astray by the instructions printed on the cartridge’s label. The color combination on it is not the proper one. The following picture will show you the proper color placement for this procedure.

How to refill the HP 92 black ink cartridge

When this ink cartridge is brand new, it can yield up to 220 pages. After refilling it, you will be able to print around 150 pages with it.

This cartridge works with pigmented ink, and you should do everything in your power to inject the same kind of ink into it. If you can’t find any pigmented ink, then you could try adding some water-based or dyed ink to it, which you can get at almost any store. Before you begin refilling this kind of cartridge, we recommend you clean the contacts on them. This is necessary, but not really mandatory, since these cartridges have very good performance.

How to refill the HP 88 black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink cartridges

These ink cartridges work with ink tanks, which rely on the the print head processing the ink and doing all the printing. These are very used in Latin America, since they were sold along with several different printers available in the region.

These cartridges are compatible with the following printer models:  HP officejet pro k550, K550dtn, and k550dtwn. They also come in two versions: the regular size and the extra-large one.

Depending on the size for the cartridges, you will need to apply one  a specific amount of ink.For example, regular sized ink cartridges use 10ml of ink, while the extra-large versions use 30ml of ink. These cartridges work with water-based or dyed ink, expect for the HP 88 black one in both the regular and extra-large versions.

Steps to refill the HP 88 yellow, cyan, magenta and black ink cartridges:

1. First of all, keep in mind you’ll need to use a different syringe for every color.
2. Grab a piece of cloth, preferably black, for any ink spills that may occur. You may also use a flat surface you can clean up easily afterwards.

How to refill the HP 84 black, light cyan and light magenta ink cartridges

These ink cartridges come in the following colors: black (c5016a); light cyan (c5017a) and light magenta (c5018a).

These are regularly used on HP designjet and officepro printers. They’re known for their high page yield, and they usually work with water-based or dyed inks.

The HP 84 black ink cartridge uses about 69ml of ink, while the colored ones use 89ml. This is the same amount of ink you must inject into them when you’re refilling them. They are compatible with the following printer models: HP designjet 10ps, 20ps, 50ps, 30, 90, 120 and 130. Unfortunately, these printers are no longer available for purchase. If you purchase a brand new HP 61 tricolor ink cartridge, it will yield up to 220 pages. After refilling them though, you can get up to 150 pages from it. These cartridge use water-based or dyed ink, which you can regularly find in every printer store to refill canon, lexmark and HP cartridges.

These cartridges belong to a new HP cartridge generation, so you shouldn’t be surprised if you can’t print as many pages with them as you would expect to do. Usually, we recommend you add a bit more ink than normal when refilling these cartridges to get a considerable page yield. In this case, you recommend you inject 3ml of every ink color.

You must not confuse these cartridges with the HP 122 ones. Even when they’re compatible with the same printers, they are sold in different regions. How to refill the HP 61 black ink cartridge

How to refill the HP 60 tricolor ink cartridge

These cartridges, which work with water-based or dyed inks, have a high page yield and overall functioning, and can print up to 165 pages. These belong to the latest generation of HP ink cartridges.

This particular cartridge has a lower page yield than usual, but still maintains HP printing quality. You should be able to print about 100 pages after refilling them with 3ml of ink, which you can learn how to do by following the instructions ahead.

 The HP 60 tricolor ink cartridge is compatible with the following HP printer models: HP deskjet D1660, D2530, D2545, D2560, D2660, D2680, D5545 and D556. Before you refill this cartridge, remember it was made for domestic use, and shouldn’t be used for any business related tasks.

Refill procedure for the HP 60 tricolor ink cartridge:

Before you refill an ink cartridge, we recommend you do this procedure on a surface you can clean easily, whether it’s a flat surface itself or a piece of wood. In case you can’t find any of these, you can use a piece of black cloth. The color of the fabric will cover all the ink colors you’ve used to refill the cartridges.
